What is Metered Access Manager and how do I use it?

Metered Access Manager helps you track expiring and expired Metered Access (MA) titles in your collection. You can set criteria for which MA titles should be included, and optionally create carts for repurchasing.

How to create a Metered Access Manager plan

You can create as many Metered Access Manager plans as you'd like. For example, you may want to create plans for different types of MA titles (MA: by time vs. MA: by checkout) or separate plans for expiring and expired titles.

To create a Metered Access Manager plan:

  1. Sign into OverDrive Marketplace.
  2. Select the Shop drop-down, then Purchasing tools.
  3. Click Metered Access Manager.
  4. Click Create new plan.
  5. Select the criteria for your Metered Access Manager plan. (See the "Metered Access Manager tips" section below for advice.)
  6. Select Save.

When you save your plan, you'll see a list of titles that meet your selected criteria.

Note: Because titles' lending models may change, the lending models displayed in your plan results or carts may be different from the lending models selected in your plan criteria. Plan results and carts display only lending models currently for sale.

You can view titles in your plan and add titles to carts manually at any time. If you choose to have Metered Access Manager create carts automatically, you'll be notified by email whenever your plan generates a cart.
