The stories originated in the late Emperor Kangxi period, when Tong Lin fled to Jiangxi due to his accidental injury to his old father. In Jiangxi, after received as the disciple of a Taoist Master, he diligently learned kung fu for 15 years and acquired the consummate art of Zhang fighting. Then, instructed by his master, Tong Lin left to "separately create a school of Wushu". In Beijing, he came across Yinzhen, one of the present emperor's sons, and acted as the Wushu coach. Since he had just entered the society and offended the forest outlaws, a disciple from Ba Gua Mountain sneaked into the imperial palace and stole some treasures. Ordered by the emperor, the convicted Tong Lin went to South China to catch the thief to redeem himself. All the way, Tong Lin and Baylor master knew many heroes of various schools, met quite a few villains occupying some mountains and islands. In this process, some people in the Wushu trade wanted to compete with young and inexperienced Tong Lin. From this, this book unfolds a series of tense, breathtaking stories.
