Emma is a novel by Jane Austen that follows the life of Emma Woodhouse, a young woman who thinks she knows everything about romance and love. Emma is convinced that she can play matchmaker for her friends and family and make them all happy, but things don't go quite as she planned. The novel is full of witty dialogue, sharp observations, and delicious irony.
