Faculty Perceptions of Biblically Integrated Instruction and Spiritual Development of High School Seniors: A Causal-Comparative Study

ebook
Biblical integration (BI) is a key tenet of Christian education and is assumed to contribute to students’ spiritual development. A review of related literature revealed a paucity of research linking BI or biblically integrated instruction (BII) to students’ spiritual development in Christian schools. The purpose of this study was to determine if there is a difference in the level of spiritual development of seniors based on the level of BII in the seniors’ Christian high schools and thereby help fill this void in the Christian school research literature. The study built on the work of a number of researchers and specifically the research of Gallagher (2016) that included specific strategies for biblically integrated instruction.
