This study seeks to understand the practices and perceptions of presidents of Christian higher education regarding spiritual disciplines in strategic planning. The literature analysis provided no evidence or scholarly discussion on the use of spiritual disciplines in strategic planning. Lack of evidence in the literature does not equate to lack of practice. As a result, the study used a mixed-method convergent design to explore the most important spiritual disciplines regarding strategic planning from study participants. Presidents from member institutions of the Association of Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) and the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) completed out a survey.
