This study examined how Christian educational institution leaders’ views of environmental stewardship affected construction and campus decisions. This study included K-12 Christian schools in the United States with membership in Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and/or Council on Educational Standards and Accountability (CESA). It specifically researched schools having built or renovated school buildings within the past 10 years. The review of literature showed little research on environmental stewardship in K-12 Christian schools. A basic qualitative study was designed, based upon a semi-structured interview protocol.
