This study attempts to present the factors that have caused the growth experienced by churches ministering to the autochthonous population in French speaking Belgium. Six churches, randomly chosen out of a population of twenty--‐one churches that met the selection criteria, were researched. Interviews of the pastor, one elder and two new believers were conducted and surveys were completed by all members of the board of Elders, two mature leaders and most new believers for each of the six churches.
